If you like neutrals, we will show you how to ensure it’s still interesting and timeless. If you like colour but are scared you’ll get sick of it, we will show you how to use it sparingly and in non-committed ways. My Philosophy
Why Hire The Red Door
Stephanie OLeary is the Owner of Red Door Design Services, formerly Style by Stephanie. She has been a business woman and creative at heart for as long as she can remember. As a child she used to pull new home plans from the Saturday newspapers and re-draw them the way they “should be”, based on better function and flow. At age 16, she spent a summer drawing floor plans for her own dream home. To this day, her favourite task is to create functional and beautiful floor plans for clients.
After obtaining her Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University, she worked for a few years in Human Resources because she knew she liked helping people, but her passion for design kept calling. Stephanie began Style By Stephanie, focusing on home staging, while diligently acquiring more design skills and product knowledge. Over time, her clients asked her to come to their new homes to offer paint plans, floor plans and remodelling plans.
Another great passion is kitchen redesign. From small facelift projects to complete gut jobs, she’s done it all. Her philosophy with kitchen design is function first, then form. We need to make sure you have the workflow, storage, lighting and tools you need to work the way you need. Then we can play with finishes and fixtures to create a look that is timeless and stylish.
Stephanie has over 10 years of interior decorating and design experience, and truly believes in making style achievable to all. With the help of the internet, she can reach clients all over North America, and help bring out their own personal style.
